Design Associates has undertaken several significant commercial
buildings for major companies in the North West.
One such project was the refurbishment and extension of a traditional
textile mill into a modern headquarters for Minky.
The practice also produced an award-winning headquarters building
for Zen Internet Limited. The building was given the Civic Design
Award by Rochdale Civic Society and also won the prestigious Manchester-area
RIBA Regional Award for Best Commercial Architecture in 2002.
Following the success of their first headquarters building Zen Internet
Limited have again commissioned the practice to undertake a new
headquarters project which is much larger in size and is to include
a major state-of-the-art internet hosting centre.
