On all main projects the practice has a staffing level between 4 and 6 architectural staff and as a policy partner involvement is maintained at all times.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) is used extensively and enables the practice to collaborate effectively with other consultants. 3D visualisations can also be produced to assist with the design and communication processes.

The practice has strong links with the teaching of architectural design and Dennis Burr has a continuing involvement with degree teaching at Sheffield University. These links reinforce the design ethos of the practice, which rests on a strong theoretical basis.
